  1. I'm going to write about a tale named Exhibit Piece. This story is inside a book titled Electric Dreams, an anthology of science fiction stories.

The tale it’s about a man who is obsessed with his work that he has perfectly recreated a typical American neighborhood from the 1950s. However, at certain point in the history you can’t distinguish if you’re reading the story of a XX century man who works on a XX century exhibit piece or a XX century man who is obsessed with living in the XII century. Believe me when I tell you that you’ll doubt if your life is real or a simulation.

This is a well-written book, with light language and I consider it’s perfect if you want to start reading science fiction. Of course I recommend it, even more so if you don't have much time because it only has 20 pages.

  2. The book that I will review is an adventure, action and horror book called Bioshock, the main characteristic of this book appears for a thought of a man who thinks of creating a city where men can have the fruit of their effort and do not depend on a state that controls them. The story immerses us in an old dystopian city of the 1980s called Rapture that is submerged at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean. Our protagonist is a strong-willed man without a name, without a past and without a future that while traveling on a plane to look for some people that his mind barely thinks he remembers has an accident surviving by a miracle or maybe for something else he finds a lighthouse that will direct him to the famous city of Rapture where he will test his morals and he will face his own demons with the help of a kindly person called Atlas who will guide him to save his family and get the protagonist out of the city alive in a adventure with a lot of action, decisions and horrifying monsters with a far-fetched and heart-breaking end.

The central theme of the story is about how much a man is willing to risk making his dreams come true and how many he is willing to crush, murder or simply destroy to fulfill his whims and make them come true.

The writing style is in the first person learning more about the character as we as readers judge his actions and watch with expectation if he will decide to give everything to get out even if it means giving up his morals and sanity or having his morals intact and find another way, to show that even in the darkest abyss you can come out pure.

In my opinion, the story is very good, the character and the actions he takes, although they may not like everyone, but at the end you can understand him and you will want him to fulfill his mission, likewise the twists of the plot and the great revelations of the story you do not expect and possibly they will leave you shocked, so in summary I can say that Bioshock is a great work, not only in the way in which it makes you imagine the situations but that all the characters have their great charisma and despite that maybe you love them or you come to hate them, you will understand their motivations and beliefs.

  3. The book I read is called Five People You Will Meet in Heaven. This is a well-written book by Mitch Albom.

The main character is Eddie. He is eighty three years old and works at an amusement park. He has spent his entire life in this place, with the exception of his participation in World War II, an episode that marked him deeply. His life ends tragically when he saves a girl who was about to be hit by a roller coaster car. Eddie is now ... in heaven. Paradise appears as the place where, at last, we understand the meaning of our life on earth. Thus, Eddie met the five people who have most influenced his life, directly but also indirectly, without him realizing it.

I recommend that you read the entire book, because you end up thinking and analyzing how our lives are linked to tottaly unknown people and how incredible they influence our decisions.
The book has two hundred and twenty pages, but if you don't have enough time, you can also watch it on movie.

  4. The girl on the train tells the story of Rachel, a woman with a thousand internal conflicts on her shoulders, with problems that rumble day after day in her head, with a past that haunts and torments her, with a life that does not feed her, but swallows her up every second. In the daily routine to work, Rachel takes the train to London, and on that journey, a fairy tale is forming around a couple she sees behind the glass, she is building paragraphs in the love novel of Jason and Jess, she is creating memories and memories about it, without even suspecting that sooner rather than later, she will become the main actress in that story.

The book is developed as a diary, in which Rachel, Megan and Anna, tell us from their particular situation and from a certain point in time, as the mysteries that build this thriller are taking place.

Although I have not read it, I was interested because it deals with suspense, mystery and reflection of the different characters. It is a book that in terms of mystery starts from the train, where the girl through her window observes a couple that seems to be normal.

I recommend it if you like mystery and thriller, which are also in the characters as in the whole story.

  5. The movie I saw is called Hacksaw Ridge. It's a dramatic, biographical film based on the story of a U.S. Army soldier named Desmond Doss.

It is set in World War II, where Desmond, a Seventh-day Adventist, enlists to serve as a combat medic. However, he refuses to handle a rifle and refuses to train on Saturdays, so his superiors torment Doss with the intention of getting him to retire from the army. Doss does not resign and participates in the war without carrying a weapon. Doss was the only American soldier to serve at the front without a weapon and single-handedly saved the lives of 75 men, for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

This is an anti-war film with pacifist themes, which simplifies what it wants to show and focuses on performances and storytelling.

In my opinion, it is a good film that focuses on the protagonist's decisions, his willpower and his desire to help those in need. It is a good choice for someone who wants to explore in the genre.

  6. Thirteen going on thirty is a movie about the importance of take the opportunity at the moment it is coming because sometimes the opportunity is in front of us, but our eyes cannot see that very well.

The movie tells the story about a young thirteen girl who wants to be the most popular girl in the school and wishes to be a successful thirty-year woman. This wish became real. Now she is a woman who works as the principal editor of a prestigious magazine and has a lot of money.

However, what happens when the love of your life is marrying with another person and when your parents don’t recognize you any more, and worse, when the opportunities you had to be happy in life will never return.

  7. The movie I'm going to review is called "Back to the Future". The film is about 17-year-old Marty McFly, who lives in an American town in 1985. He is friends with the eccentric professor Emmett Brown. One day , he accompany him one night to try his new experiment: traveling through time using a modified DeLorean, but suddenly they are attacked by terrorists. Marty flees from them on the DeLorean and he is sent thirty years ago. There, he accidentally keeps his parents from meeting each other and he will have to do whatever it takes to get them together. Otherwise, he will never exist.
The strong point of this film is the idea it proposes about time travel and makes us reflect on what would happen if we really had the possibility of going back to the past?
The cinematic style combines comedy and science fiction in its plot and features a memorable soundtrack by Alan Silvestri. It has incredible images and settings and, most of all, a new story.
In my opinion, it is a super fun and innovative movie that talks about temporal paradoxes in a simple way. Also, he has a strong-willed main character because he keeps trying to unite his parents. I recommend that you watch it since it is a well-directed film and a classic of the cinema that marked a generation.

  8. Taken is a movie with a lot of intrigue and action. This movie is about a father who has many skills and experience in security; he has a teenage daughter who decides to go to France with her cousin. Hours later she and her cousin are kidnapped by a group of gangsters. Her father named Bryam decides to go in search of her since he only had 72 hours to find her alive.
I recommend the movie if you like action, actually there are 3 movies, but my favorite is the first one. You can watch this movie with your friends but I don't recommend it for kids beacuse there are a lot of fight scenes and some secual scenes.

This movie have action packed and i think is interesting, but not is the best film of action.
In my opinion the develoment of the film is very predictable and i think it was good the way of plot but could better in the second part of the film.
