ReplyDeleteVincent van Gogh was born in Holland in 1853 and died in 1890 at the age of 37. He was one of the most famous painters of his time. He painted 900 pictures, that tell us how talented was him, because most of his pictures was very recognized. A very curious fact is that his pictures became more famous when he died, maybe because the fact that he passed away in a very young age. He was an inspiration for other painters in the following years.

ReplyDeleteZoila Augusta Emperatriz del Castillo is the real name of Yma Sumac. She was born in Cajamarca on September 13, 1922 and passed away on November 1, 2008. She was a very talented soprano who developed her talent by imitating the sounds of birds. We all know them for their interpretation of the Condor Pasa.
Vincent van Gogh was born in Holanda in 1853. In 1886 he traveled to Paris and began to know new types of art. Artists like Ando Hiroshige and Hokusai encouraged him to perform new techniques. One of his most famous paintings is "La noche estrella".

He was one of the main exponents of Post-Impressionism, because he sought to evoke emotions through his work, leaving aside realism. Also, He painted around 900 pictures and made more than 1600 drawing and the most famous work of Van Gogh is "The Starry Night", This canvas represents what the artist saw and imagined from his room in the mental hospital. Finally, He died on July 29, 1890, in France.
Vicent van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853, in Groot-Zundert - Holanda. Between 1860 to 1880 he decided be an artist.
ReplyDeleteIn 1886 He went to Paris with her brother Theo, where he studied with Cormon, he met with Pissarro, Monet and Gauguin and stard paint impressionistic. He was a nervous person and difficult partner to deal with.
Van Gogh's life began to alternate between attacks of madness and lucidity. Van Gogh was sent to the asylum in Saint-Rémy for his treatment.
On May 1890 left to asylum and went to live in Auvers-su.-Oise but two months later was die.

ReplyDeleteJosé Saramago was born on November 16, 1922 in the Portuguese village of Azinhaga. José comes from a family of farmers and artisans and lived most of his life in Lisbon and later in Lanzarote (Spain) where he died on June 18, 2010. José was the first Portuguese writer to win the novel prize for literature in 1998. His first published work was "Land of Sin" in 1947 and the last was titled "Cain" in 2009.

ReplyDeleteDaniel alcides carrion was born on August 13, 1857 in Cerro de pasco. He studied medicine at the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos but the difficult economic conditions derived from the War of the Pacific and the interruptions of studies due to military service made his progress slow. He had many doubts about the Peruvian wart disease and decided to do his thesis on this disease. He decided to inoculate himself with blood contaminated with this disease, to observe the evolution and the symptoms.
ReplyDeleteIt was on October 5, 1885 that Carrion died of this disease. Thanks to their sacrifice of him, they managed to find the origin of the disease, which was caused by a germ with the scientific name of Bartonella bacilliformis.
Johann Sebastian Bach was a famous German composer. He was born on March 21, 1685 in Eisenach. He is the main representative of the late baroque. His compositional training was self-taught. About his works, we have Passions and Brandenburg Concertos. However, he died of a stroke on July 28, 1750, in Leipzig.
ReplyDeleteClorinda Matto de Turner is a Peruvian writer who was born in 1852 in Cusco – Peru. She developed an important literary movement which was called Costumbrismo. This was a Movement which was famous because it shows place’s costumes. Also, he was a feminist writer who fight for poverty around Peru and women’s rights. One of her famous books was “Aves sin Nido”. In that book he wrote about indigenous poverty. She died in 1909 in Buenos Aires – Argentina.
